Landlord Fees

This information is intended to inform prospective Landlords of fees payable to CP Walker & Son. Please read and understand this information carefully before deciding whether to instruct us.

Management Fee

Letting; rent collection; inspections; professional advice; maintenance; providing accounts; deposit compliance; inventory; end of tenancy matters

11% + VAT of gross rent receivable

(13.2% including VAT)

Letting Fee

Contribution towards the costs of setting up tenancy (e.g. referencing, deposit compliance and inventory).  N.B.  Previously obtained from ingoing Tenants prior to the Tenant Fees Act 2019

Professional properties - £250 + VAT (£300 including VAT) per property

Room Shares - £85 + VAT (£102 including VAT) per Tenant

Student properties - One week's rent + VAT  per Tenant

On completion of each new tenancy

1st Year Withdrawal Fee

If the Landlord terminates the Agreement in the 1st 12 months

7% + VAT of annual gross rent receivable

(8.4% including VAT)

Within 14 days of demand

 

 

 

 

Duplicate Accounts

Provision of duplicate accounts 

Charged at standard hourly rate of £100 + VAT (£120 including VAT)

CP Walker & Son is a member of the RICS and as such is covered by its Client Money Protection Scheme.

 

CP Walker & Son is a member of the Property Ombudsman Redress Scheme.
